Your data
Privacy Policy
ClipMyStream helps creators turn footage into short videos and publish them. This policy explains the information the web and desktop apps use to make that work.

Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic account information through Firebase Authentication, such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier. We use it to identify your account and protect your workspace.
If you save a video to the bank, we store the video, thumbnail, titles, descriptions, captions, hashtags, and publishing status that you provide or generate. We also keep operational data needed to run the service, such as usage and error information.
Google and YouTube data
ClipMyStream uses YouTube API Services. Connecting a YouTube account is separate from signing in to ClipMyStream. With your permission, we request YouTube read-only access to identify your channel and YouTube upload access to publish a video that you choose to send. We store the channel ID and name, connection status, and an encrypted OAuth refresh token so the connection can continue to work. We do not receive or store your Google or YouTube password.
We use YouTube data only for the channel connection and publishing features you request. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. When you request an upload, we send your selected video and its publishing metadata to YouTube. Google's handling of data on its services is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Other integrations and AI
If you connect an Instagram professional account, we store its account ID, username, connection status, and an encrypted access token. When you choose to publish, we send the selected video and caption to Instagram.
When you use AI analysis or metadata tools, the video or text you submit, or the metadata you ask us to rewrite, is sent to Google Gemini to generate the requested result. You can edit the result before publishing.
Storage and sharing
Firebase provides authentication and account records. ClipMyStream stores saved media with its configured object-storage provider and serves it through signed app URLs. Hosting, storage, AI, and connected-platform providers process the information needed to provide their respective features. We do not share your private bank content with other ClipMyStream users through the app.
Integration tokens are encrypted at rest on the server. Access to saved assets is limited using account checks and signed URLs. No online system is completely risk-free, but we use these controls to reduce unauthorized access.
Retention and your choices
Saved videos have a retention period based on your plan. The current periods are 30 days on Free, 180 days on Creator, and 365 days on Pro. When retention cleanup runs, it removes expired bank records and stored assets. You can also delete an individual bank video in the app. Published copies on YouTube or Instagram remain governed by those platforms.
You can revoke ClipMyStream's Google access in your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized API access but does not itself erase copies already stored in ClipMyStream. To request deletion of your account information or a stored connection, email tushar.kushwaha.dev@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above, and if a new use of connected Google data needs your consent, we will ask before using that data for the new purpose.
